DIY Zines
This summer the Brewhouse Arts Centre is delighted to be part of Staffordshire County Council’s HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme offering a programme of FREE creative workshops for eligible children and young people throughout the summer holidays.
The HAF programme provides enriching holiday activities and a healthy meal for children and young people aged 5–16 who receive benefit-related Free School Meals. Activities take place across Staffordshire from 20 July to 31 August 2026, with eligible children able to book up to 16 free sessions across the programme.
DIY Zines
Creating a Zine is a fun, DIY way to share your ideas, art or stories. In this session our visual arts tutors, Alison Woolacott and Elizabeth Blades, will show you simple ways you can create your own book from a single sheet of paper. Experiment with drawing games, collage-making, acting out and free play to develop your ideas and make your very own publication
