Be an Artist for the Day
This summer the Brewhouse Arts Centre is delighted to be part of Staffordshire County Council’s HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme offering a programme of FREE creative workshops for eligible children and young people throughout the summer holidays.
The HAF programme provides enriching holiday activities and a healthy meal for children and young people aged 5–16 who receive benefit-related Free School Meals. Activities take place across Staffordshire from 20 July to 31 August 2026, with eligible children able to book up to 16 free sessions across the programme.
Be an Artist for the Day
Try your hand at different drawing and painting techniques with the support of our visual art tutors, Elizabeth Blades and Nicola Bingham, to create your own artwork inspired by still life. This session encourages creative expression, experimentation and will look to build confidence in young artists, working with professional equipment such as easels. At the end of the session, we will display our artwork in a special pop-up exhibition.

- Playing with Puppetry Friday 21st August, 1.00pm – 3.30pm
