The Brewhouse in Burton upon Trent has announced an exciting Autumn Winter season of live theatre, music, comedy and workshops.
The season sees a packed line up of performances and activities for residents and visitors to enjoy, including the return of renowned local theatre company, the Babbling Vagabonds, with another magical Christmas production in December.
The family fun doesn’t end there, as One Tenth Human bring their Curious Investigators show to the Brewhouse on Monday 21st October. Plus, there’ll be the usual great range of workshops for children including Upbeat, Art Club and Youth Dance.
Comedy moments
If comedy is your thing, then you won’t be disappointed, with big names such as Andy Parsons (13th November), Rich Hall (14th November) and Ivo Graham (21st November) hitting the Brewhouse stage. Barbara Nice, Britain’s Got Talent finalist, will also be performing her new show, Fun! On 2nd November. Plus, the Brewhouse’s regular Comedy Clubs return with performances from top comedians touring the circuit today on 25th October.
Music highlights
Music fans will have plenty to fill their diaries with, with Melrose Quartet (4th October), Terence Blacker (10th October), Annie Duggan, Pete Oakley and Rob Hines (11th October), Fairport Convention (17th October), Granny’s Attic (20th November) and Neil Sands (3rd December) all performing. Plus, Riding the Low will be returning for a performance of their second album, Riding The Low Are Here To Help The Neighbourhood, on 26th October, following their sell-out gig last November. And if taking part is your thing, there’s even an Electronic Open Mic Night on 16th November!
The venue will also welcome Hancock’s Half Hour – The Lost TV Episodes, on 6th November, for an evening of classic comedy, and psychic medium David Maddock on 19th November.
The Brewhouse will also welcome back an extensive range of local amateur performances, including The Mellow Dramatics with Rock of Ages and Little Theatre Company with Nativity! The Musical.
